The Isle of Wight is home to over 200 miles of cycle tracks. There are different routes for different abilities, all of which offer stunning views of the island! People often visit purely to experience the cycling scene – some people even refer to it as the bicycle island!

The most popular cycling route, and challenge, on the island is the Round the Island Route. This takes you around the whole island and is roughly 65miles long!

There are also cycling events that happen on the island throughout the year. The Radonnee being the main one. This event offers the choice of two different routes, 100km or 55km. It is a family open road cycling event, and it is free to take part! This event normally takes place around April time.
